First three days in London
HELLO everybody!!!!
The first three days have been crazay. Okae, my computer can't multi task. THe computer is always trying to block some kinda virus. I do wish some computer expert could help me solve the problem, can't live with this for long. I am going crazy as well. So please, this is going to be a very incoherent post. Too many emotions going through my head.
I am much weaker than i thought i already was. Even entertained thoughts of quitting school at the end of year one. really dangerous thoughts there which scared e hell out of me. London is so huge its scary. Fully comprehend how small singapore really is when u get down here. The peopl, they're from all over the world, evryone's speaking differnt languages! lotsa tourists around here aswell. Experienced both the touristy stuffs and the local way like Sainsbury and found that things were not that expensive (only in e supermarket). Sandwiches cost a mighty bomb, like 2 pounds on average for pathetic 4 pieces of bread. we're starting to feel the pinch there but you can't really afford to worry about such things.
We wereliving like such poor paupers. To the extent that we stole 2 clips from a pharmacy. so scared to get caught lah! cos the security guard looked like he was looking at some video. fyi, 4 giap giap clips cost 3.25 pounds, equals to 10 singapore dollars. And that's jsuust at a normal pharmacy. that's why we had to steal u know. first time stealing in our lives okae!
For today, mum and i walked ta back creaking 7 hours almost non-stop. visited buckingham palace which was awesome. Tower bridge as well, spent alot on e tube. Taking e tube was relly cool because they have like 6 differnt lines rnnning through central london. then u realise singapore mrt is so easy!
Londons extremely busy. thats why i say its crazy. But very very exciting place! My room'mate's from CHina but she studied in the UK for 4 years sand she picked up english here! But she spspeaks really well, like the Brits. We get along really fine , very thankful for thwe both know who jay chou is, and stef sun! My flatmates are 3 other angmohs andthis other chinese guy. they're fun people though i'm still rather introverrted because thit's not easy, duh! Feel shy to speak up ya know. Tell u more about them next time cos i'm not that familiar with them yet.
It's so funny how i was so not used to it in the first, 2nd day that and my mother too thatt we decided not to take any photographs at all. so i'm leaving u guys with the photos which we took only today. I have a lot more things to tell u guys, sorry for not emailing because this computer refuses to coperate. as i am typing i cant see the words, it appears about 2 minutes later. sorry for all the typos!
D worry about me, i'm fine, at least for the next 8 days with mum by my iside, though i wouldnt say the same or i might not say the same when she leaves. but we'll cope and see how
to all my friends, u know i miss u guys a lot! been trying to decorate my room with photograps, listening to e music, watching the videos. you guys will be missed terribly! I hope u'll are doing fine back in sunny singapore, sun is not really friendly here. pretty chilly infact. THank u for all the presents and cards, thanks for the effort, thanks for making me feel like i'm really loved! THANK U ALOT! i'm not very good with words so u know what i mean!
