one heck of a year ahead again!!

hi guys! Just suddenly felt like typing again, who the dang dang is sopskyslat? I googled it and turns out its a pragueian dish? Er, sopskyslat... if you're from Prague, can I stay at your house when I go visit?

Anyway Anyway, gosh, the buzz of school is UNDENIABLE, feels great to be back in action actually, after nuaing for like 4 weeks at home, it's time to move on! I'm glad i came back earlier, so feeling much more settled down now. I'm just trying to do some research now and applications, so, lets just say things are moving, GOD BLESS! Anyway, i'm sick of staring at the computer pages of company reports, so here i am, back at the blog.

I just had a parttime job interview which I thought went badly cos firstly, I was JUST on time, like seriously just made it cos my stupid clock was working on a dying battery and that made me late! Had to squeeze with the morning crowd at Bank which was insane, wish i was walking on stilts so can overtake everyone. And just got news that I got the job! Phew, very lucky. I was really sweating during the interview.. then they asked... how are you going to convince us that you will be punctuall...wow, talk about irony, then i started sweating more... quite funny.

And then I just met up with some of my mentees and it was great meeting them, seriously, just 4 ppl and you see the diversity of the people here. Theres the American whos absolutely sure he wants to be an ibanker, reads up on the financial markets etc etc, he's cool, typically american , speaks damn loudly, but yet says things like my parents dont really want me to work parttime. Then theres the Brit who dreams of playing all day and keeps asking if she needs to consistently study in Year 1 to survive or can she party all the way. Then you have the exotic people, Indian who lives in Bangkok, Japanese who lives in Geneva and who in typical Jap diplomat style, brought a pack of Swiss chocolates for me. Dreams of being a diplomat, wants to take part in the Union, submit motions and no surprises.... his dad works forthe UN. But still typically Japanese, bows when he says goodbye.

The year is working out well, still figuring out the best way to get to school at which time. Traffic in the city is really hell! House is nice and big and furnishings are brand new so thats great! Even have like hot spots on the floor. Can't wait to whack some shots at the badminton trials! And it feels great to be a year 3, starting to see some familiar faces around school. I wish i dared to/can ride a bike to school! Bahhhhhhhhhhhh!

I was doing modules research and political economy sounds really interesting, abit of game theory and stuffs, industrial economics sounds quite bad, saw all the price entry crap which really confused the hell out of me last year. International and Monetary is well, standard, expected. Political intrigues me so most probably going to take that. Gt check out the lectures first and... well, i guess operational research is on the cards. haha!
