Thoughts...
Heya guys! I'm so sleepy but i will persevere and update! The reason i'm so sleepy is because we woke up at the unearthly hour of 4 30am on sat morning to catch the bus to Nottingham. I enjoyed it alot for several reasons, firstly and foremostly, the spirit of the netball team was fantastic! Inspite of the cold, I mean severe cold, we were so badly abused by the weather for 5 hours till our joints ached. Yes, it was very bad! I love how we all played our hearts out, cheered for each other, it's a very heartwarming feeling(perhaps the only thing that could have kept us warm). Even though i didn't play much, but woah, that team spirit, that drive is just fantastic. And there are so many people to thank for making this possible. Thank you from the bottom of my heart (i know it sounds cheesy, but i mean it ! :) I am so grateful to be part of this wonderful team.
Secondly, i was reminded of the Hwachong days, those crazy days when we shouted ourselves hoarse cheering for the basketball team. Adrian was wearing his hwachong jersey, that set it off. The LSE team made it to the finals, exciting, although we lost but it was a good fight.
Thirdly, i met people like Daphne Yuan, our beloved head prefect, really got a chance to talk to her on the bus. She's such a nice and likeable girl, can't imagine people not being nice to her. Really happy that i met her, and i met Yvonne and April as well. :) Daphne reminded me of the importance of choosing flatmates for next year, point in check. She was telling me how her second year was awful cos of one of her flatmates. No idea how the arrangements will go for next year, but just keep in mind, be very careful when choosing who to stay with. Hmm.
Speaking of flatmates, even though i'm kind of staying in a flat now, i obviously didnt choose to stay with these people. If there's one thing i can't stand, it's NOISE. God, fridays and saturdays, they party like hell, at 2 am in the morning they're talking so loudly outside my room. People actually still need to sleep you know. Crap, and they go in and out of that flat, so the door just keeps banging when they go in and out. Irritating. If i get irritated enough, i'll slip a note under their room. Better not come to this man. Yeah, and yesterday night, i was tossing and turning for almost 2 hours before i knocked off. I was so tired after coming back from Nottingham and i couldnt sleep. It's so frustrating, hope it doesn't happen often.
So, in my unable to sleep mode, started counting sheep... counted till about 400 plus then gave up, still couldnt sleep, toss turn, somersault. Then those irritating people at 1,2am started making noise lah, made it even harder to fall asleep. Growl. And then i was thinking of how good it'll be to have my own room. Bah, therefore, looking forward to having my own room next year, private space is so important. Tahan, tahan.
Today, i met Aunty Christine and Uncle Andrew, they passed me all my stuff, luckily they came over! so now i've got a black cashmere to fight the cold and nice white corduroy jacket and thermal underwear and new gloves! AHhh! I love you mummy! And then i went to Camden with them, quite a nice place to window shop, weird quirky stuffs and i forgot to bring my camera! Then we went to this other section in hyde park which i didn't go last time, so pretty with the fountains and the red leaves on the trees, should get some pictures up next week when uncle Andrew's friend sends them to me. Then we went to Bayswater for lunch, nice Chinese restaurant, good food! Yum... hmmm
In other news, i'll be going to Wales with Kahmei on 20th Dec. Yeap, just the 2 of us. Hope it'll be fun. want to go to the coastal area!
And i have a presentation for IR tomorrow which i think i'll do very badly in, not much time to prepare, or more like i didn't put in enough effort to make it good? Hope it doesn't turn out too bad. Going to sleep now, hopefully will be a good sleep. Really need it!
Take care all of you at home! And i'm missing singapore food more and more with the passing of each day. And the weather, i want the heat, bring it on! Enjoy the warmth guys! Bask in the sunshine!
