proper post perhaps

Ah! Photos are always well-received! I should try to put up more next time right! Found out how to do it fast ... finally!

Right, i'm trying to be reflective now. It's been a month since i left sunny singapore behind. So much has happened, but essentially nothing has changed. Just joined the hoardes of international students here.. student migration. I would think London has been kind to me so far, the weather hasn't been that very bad (YET), i have a room mate who eats rice and chinese food and we get along, i live 10 minutes away from school, 10 minutes away from covent garden, 15 minutes away from chinatown and leicester square, oxford street . They've got fantastic fashion boutiques in covent garden.... imagine.. zara, marks and spencer, miss sixty etc etc are just 5 to 10 min walk away. Endles endless eateries etc etc. In short, if i have the money, boy would i go bonkers down here! That's just to give you a general feel of the area i'm living in.

So far, life has pretty much revolved around school... the few hours of school i have a week. But of course there is work to be done, readings to be read, lots of independency really... you do as much as you want. I havent been making foreign friends still! Sure hope it's still early thats why. There are endless careers talks and company fairs etc etc... public lectures everyday, some big shot visits the LSE. There is so much going on here besides just studies!

Just now, i was talking to mummy on the phone and she was telling me about.. ya know not going back during summer of year 2... if i could secure an internship here, i would be glad! But pretty scary thought not going home for SO long and not seeing family and friends! And about sending jie and vera here to visit me in year 2. Sorry, that's so random but if you could project what's gonna happen next time... means you're rather settled in? I dont know... but i'm fine definitely! It just strikes me sometimes ...that i'm here finally after so long, almost settled in and leading this new life on my own. But remaining very connected with you guys at home through MSN, emails... keep them coming in yeah! Finally understood the importance of MSN. Haha.

Oh yes, in other news... when we were on the boat right... we passed by this place "greenwich"... some GMT thing.. the official time? It's like this greeen laser that shoots across the sky... so after you pass that time zone.. you are either one hour behind or ahead. Cool stuff ! Couldnt really capture it on camera though, pity. From this sunday onwards, London will be 8 hours behind Singapore instead of the seven now... daylight saving they call it.

There are still places i haven't visited here, things i haven't done. Current biggest plan ahead is Italy in december and Scotland over Christmas. And post-christmas sale... can't wait! There is so much more to learn and I can't thank my parents (mummy, daddy, i love you!) enough for allowing me to spread my wings and take off. Studies will still definitely be priority, and i will try very hard not to disappoint!

It's going to be one hell of a ride.. i think!

Hi, you have a great resource for water gardening.

I am a water gardening enthusiast myself and enjoy searching the Internet for more information and resources. I have a site on water gardening as well. Perhaps we could do a link exchange.

Keep up the good work!
